Zacky Vengeance In Summer Sonic Tokyo 2007
Zacky Vengeance, Born as Zachary James Baker on December 11, 1981 is an American musician, best known as the rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist and a founder of A7x. He chose his stage name to get back at everyone doubting him in high school and chose 4th and current bassist's Johnny Christ's stage name, finding said stage name suited him. He is the only member other than M Shadows to have founded and remained with the band, as initial bassist Matt Wendt left for college in the band's early years and Synyster Gates joined shortly post the band's formation. Zacky was once part of MPA. He received lots of support following The Rev's death and though A7x initially considered quitting, they temporarily replaced him with Mike Portnoy before recruiting Arin Illjay and current drummer, Brooks Wackerman.
