Tom Lord-Alge is a four-time Grammy Award–winning record producer and mixer. He is the youngest of Vivian Lord's five children, Mark Lord-Alge, Lisa Lord-Alge, Chris Lord-Alge, Jeff Lord-Alge and Tom Lord-Alge. His older brother Chris Lord-Alge and the lesser known Jeff Lord-Alge are also audio engineers.

A prolific mix engineer, Lord-Alge has worked with Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Bowling for Soup, Skillet, Black Light Burns, The Gracious Few, Switchfoot, Manic Street Preachers, Chicago, Hanson, Sarah Brightman, Sarah McLachlan, Marilyn Manson, Angels & Airwaves, Barenaked Ladies, Oasis, Sum 41, The Rolling Stones, Peter Gabriel, 30 Seconds to Mars, blink-182, Lights Over Paris, David Poe, Fountains of Wayne, The Fratellis, Avril Lavigne, Boys Like Girls, U2, Korn, Weezer, M2M, The Goo Goo Dolls, Level 42, Third Eye Blind, Yellowcard, Live, Elliot Minor, Hoobastank, Marianas Trench, Sevendust, All Time Low, Newsboys, Taking Back Sunday, P!nk, McFly, Coldplay, The Tea Party, The Verve Pipe. Relient K and Billy Talent.

Lord-Alge worked at Unique Recording Studios, NYC in the 1980s mixing for Force M.D.'s, Chaka Kahn, Taka Boom Malcom McLaren, David, Johansen, OMD, TKA, Jeff Beck, Little Steven, Wendy & Lisa, John Waite, Earth, Wind & Fire, Supertramp, and The System. At that studio, he recorded and mixed Steve Winwood's "Back in the High Life" album featuring the single "Higher Love" The album won multiple Grammys in 1986 for Record of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male and the Grammy for Best Engineered Recording - Non-Classical, the latter awarded to Lord-Alge for his work on the album.
