Snake Charmer was a Bonus Track On Neighborhoods, Unlike most Bonus tracks (such as the other two on the album "Even If She Falls" and "Fighting the Gravity") it is placed in the middle of the album where as most bonus tracks are placed at the end of the album. The Song has a heavy guitar riff that carries throughout the song except for the drum beat and wall of synthesizers at the beginning. It has a lot of influence from member at the time Tom DeLonge's side project Angels & Airwaves, and Box Car Racer.

Background[]

In the track commentary voiced by Mark Hoppus included for every song in the Deluxe edition, Mark says: "Snake Charmer was actually based on a riff that Tom had had for a while, uh I think even before the hiatus of blink, and then had kept around and brought back in, and we built a song around the heavy guitar progression in the beginning of the song and I remember walking in to the studio one day and Travis and our engineer Chris had constructed the rhythmic outro of this song which I think is my favorite parts of the album"
