Neighborhoods is the first album to be released since blink-182's 2009 reunion, and the band's sixth studio album, following 2003's "blink-182". It contains the first new material by the band in eight years.

Neighborhoods was released on September 27, 2011 by Interscope Records and DGC Records, after a few delays across two years. It was recorded at Opra Music House, Neverpants Ranch and Henson Studios and produced by the band itself, rather than an outside producer.
