Johnny Christ, Born as Jonathan Lewis Seward on November 18, 1984, is an American musician best known as the bassist and backing vocalist of A7x. He is the fourth bassist, replacing initial bassist Matt Wendt, bassists Justin Sane and Dameon Ash. Fellow bandmate, backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist Zacky Vengeance came up with Jon's stage name, finding ""Johnny Christ"" ballsy. He is friends with Zacky's younger brother and wasn't a backing vocalist til after the death of initial drummer and founding member, The Rev. His bandmates back in the day, including M Shadows and Synyster Gates picked on him and even beat him up in their school days.
