Bradford Philip Delson (born December 1, 1977)) is an American musician, best known as the lead guitarist, songwriter, producer, occasional backing vocalist and a founding member of Linkin Park alongside high school friends Mike Shinoda and Rob Bourdon. The band was initially known as Xero and they recruited Mark Wakefield, Phoenix and Mr Hahn. Due to struggles in success, the former two left, though Phoenix rejoined in late 2000 post the creation of hit debut album, Hybrid Theory and Mark getting replaced with Chester Bennington. The next album Meteora was also a huge hit and eventually seen as an improvement on Hybrid Theory. Brad did more guitar solos on their less successful 3rd album Minutes to midnight and became a backing vocalist on their 4th more successful album A Thousand Suns. He even once got lead vocals on their 5th very successful album Living Things and was heavily involved with producing their 6th album The Hunting Party. Due to Brad's decrease in relevance alongside every other member save Chester and Mr Hahn on their pop album One More Light, the album received heavy criticism and ended up as their last with Chester due to his suicide on July 20, 2017. As of post their tribute concert to Chester, Brad has rarely been seen in the public eye. He is the tallest member of the band after Rob.
